For the past few weeks, i have been on vacation in Costa Rica, yes, I know it is one of the inherent issues of now being retired and being able to do what I want with my time. Prior to coming to CR on January 1st, I had been developing my newest project, Gsuite Dashboards. I have been finding it a bit hard to focus on the computer when I can spend the days reading, hiking, swimming, cooking, and in general just having a great time with my wife overlooking the ocean in Guanacaste.
This project is developed to help teachers and administrators have a better view into the data that is locked up in the school SIS. Using Google sheets and sites, I have built out a set of dashboards that graphically display attendance and enrollment as well as behavior and student meeting reports (if you use google forms). To see more information, check out gsuitedashboards.com.
I will continue working on developing this system when I get back into the flow when I get home to Oregon. I plan on sharing this at the Accelerated Conference in PDX in February.
